School Sports Concussion Test Symptoms Checklist

If you play school sports, and had a head injury… …do you know the Concussion Test Signs and Symptoms?

Most people think that loss of consciousness is the main sign of concussion.
Only 10% of concussions result in loss of consciousness.
Confusion is the most common concussion symptom but there are lots of signs to watch for:

  • Loss of Consciousness

    • Retrograde-forget things that happened before the incident
    • Anterograde-things you can’t remember after the concussion

  • Delayed verbal/motor response

  • Headache

  • Visual disturbances

    • light sensitivity
    • blurred or double vision
